This ain’t Texas. But Beyoncé laid her cards down and emerged victorious at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards after taking home the coveted Album of the Year award, and two other gramophones.
Held at the Cryto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on February 2 (morning of February 3 in the Philippines), Beyoncé bagged the Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance with “Cowboy Carter,” an album that marked a departure from her signature R&B-, pop-, soul-, and dance-infused genres. This solidifies her spot as the most-awarded artist at the Grammys, as she currently has 35 awards in total.
